4. Deploy a Core appliance #
Use the Nimbra Edge Connect image for the Core appliance. During setup, you will choose its Core video role so it provides video capacity for your region.
Launch Nimbra Edge Connect R4.2.0 in your AWS region:
- Asia Pacific (Mumbai)
- Asia Pacific (Singapore)
- Europe (Frankfurt)
- Europe (Stockholm)
- Europe (London)
- South America (São Paulo)
- US East (N. Virginia)
- US East (Ohio)
- US West (N. California)
- US West (Oregon)
- Open the link for the same AWS region you used for Nimbra Edge.
- Give this second stack a name, for example nimbra-edge-video. Keep the preselected instance type and choose the same VPC and public subnet as before.
- Review and create the stack. Wait for CREATE_COMPLETE.
- Open Outputs, follow WebUI, and sign in as admin using Password. Change this appliance password after first login.
