3. Deploy a Core appliance #

Use the Nimbra Edge Connect image for the Core appliance. During setup, you will choose its Core video role so it provides video capacity for your region.

1. Open Nimbra Edge Connect in OCI Marketplace and click Launch Stack.
2. Select the compartment and software version, accept the terms, and continue.
3. Name this second stack, for example nimbra-edge-video. Select the same deployment region as Nimbra Edge. Keep the prefilled compartment, which is where the server and networking are created. Keep the default CPU and memory settings. Leave Existing Subnet OCID empty to create networking automatically.
4. Review the settings, leave Run apply checked, and click Create. Wait for the apply job to show Succeeded.
5. Open the stack’s Application Information tab, follow Web Interface URL, and sign in as admin using Initial Password. Change this appliance password after first login.
