Deploy on Oracle Cloud #

An easy way to get started with Nimbra Edge is to install it from Oracle Cloud Marketplace. The Marketplace package creates a cloud server with the Nimbra Edge setup interface ready to use. You can complete the installation in your browser.

You will install Nimbra Edge, then connect a Core appliance in the same cloud.

Before you start #

You need an OCI account with permission to create compute, networking, and Resource Manager resources, a Nimbra Edge license key, and a domain name you can configure in DNS. Oracle charges for the cloud resources separately from your Nimbra Edge license.

Follow these steps:

1. Deploy Nimbra Edge
2. Install Nimbra Edge
3. Deploy a Core appliance
4. Connect a Core appliance
5. Connect an Edge appliance
6. Send your first stream

Cleanup #

If you no longer need the installation, run Destroy on both Resource Manager stacks. This deletes the managed resources and their data, so save any required backups first. After the jobs succeed, delete the stack records and remove your DNS record.
